I am a final-year journalism student with a passion for truth-telling and community-driven storytelling.

As an Egyptian-Australian and proud member of Sydney’s western suburbs, I bring a unique cultural lens to my reporting. I have experience pitching, researching, and writing stories that tackle misinformation and uplift underrepresented voices.

Known for my willingness to take on challenging assignments, I am eager to contribute to a newsroom that values diverse perspectives, while continuing to grow under the mentorship of experienced industry professionals.

• Gym: I get up early to go to the gym 4 times a week. I attribute my ability to stick to a timetable and remain disciplined to it.
• Reading; Whenever I am free I like to read, I read a range of content from articles to novels.

Availability

I am currently seeking a journalism cadetship as I approach the final months of my university degree. I am available to work full days from Wednesday to Sunday, with university commitments on Mondays and Tuesdays. When University ends I will be available 24/7.

Punctuality is important to me. I consistently arrive early to prepare and ensure I’m ready to take on any task with focus and professionalism.
